Right now, Andamio Club is for children between 5 and 14, with plans to expand to other ages in the future. Cohorts are formed by age and Spanish level, with groups kept close in age so children learn with peers similar to them in development and interests.

No. All materials at Andamio Club are designed by us, for each age, each level, and each cohort. At the end of each week, families receive the materials from that week's classes: songs, stories, vocabulary, and small activities to revisit at home if they want.

Every class begins in Spanish and stays in Spanish. Beyond that, no two classes look the same. With younger children, classes move through short segments: a greeting, a story, a game, a closing. With older children, classes gather around a theme, with room for conversation, reading, and small creative tasks. The tone stays warm, patient, and playful throughout.

In Spanish, from the first minute. This is what makes a small live cohort different from apps or private tutoring: children hear and use Spanish continuously, with support scaled to their level so they can follow along even if they're just starting out.

Growth at Andamio Club is noticed, not tested. Every child's progress is followed class by class: in how they speak, contribute, and grow more confident. Every family receives a monthly newsletter with class highlights, and an end-of-semester written summary for each child. Immersion families also receive quarterly personal conversations to talk about their child's progress in depth.

Life happens. The Class Companion materials families receive at the end of each week already cover what the group worked on, so if a child misses a class they can catch up at home. If a child needs to miss frequently, get in touch and we'll find a way to work with your family's rhythm.

Essential is one 50-minute live class per week: steady momentum with a small cohort. Immersion is two 50-minute live classes per week, plus quarterly personal conversations with the teacher to talk about your child's progress. Both tiers include weekly class materials, monthly newsletter, end-of-semester summary, and direct email access.

None to intermediate. We welcome children with no previous Spanish, some early exposure, or conversational level, as long as there are enough children at that level to form a group. When you join the waitlist, we ask about your child's current level and place them personally in the right cohort.

Every cohort is grouped by age and Spanish level. Both dimensions matter: a 7-year-old beginner and a 7-year-old heritage speaker need different classes. Rather than following rigid brackets, we place each child by hand, based on the profile you share when joining the waitlist.

Cohorts begin twice a year: Fall (September) and Spring (February). Enrollment opens the month before classes start: August for Fall, January for Spring. Summers are off. The waitlist is always open, so you can join at any time and we'll invite you to enroll when the next semester opens.

When you enroll, you commit to a full semester of five months for your child's cohort — this allows us to form stable groups where every child can count on the same peers throughout. Payment is monthly, but the commitment is per-semester. Between semesters, families can pause without hassle or continue for the next one.
