What is Andamio Club

Andamio Club is a small online school for children learning Spanish. Live classes, thoughtful materials, and a warm space where kids can learn together. The name comes from andamio (Spanish for scaffolding), a term borrowed from developmental psychologist Lev Vygotsky. We believe children reach further when they have the right support: from their teacher, from their materials, from those learning alongside them, and from their own curiosity.

Every cohort at Andamio Club is grouped by age and level. Younger children learn through play: games, songs, and stories that make Spanish part of their world. Older children move into conversation, reading, and expression, using Spanish to tell their own stories. The materials for each class are made with the same care: clear, playful, and adapted to each age.

I'm Emilia, a psychologist and a native Spanish teacher with years of experience working with children in schools, privately, and online. Andamio Club is what I've been imagining for years: a small community where children begin speaking with one another from day one, learn from each other, and grow at their own pace.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Small school. Real presence. Warm rhythm.
01
Learning that grows together

Every class is built around the idea that children learn faster, and love the language more, when they learn with others their own age.

02
Teaching shaped by psychology

Every class at Andamio Club is designed with an understanding of how children think, feel, and learn, not just how they memorize.

03
A space for every kind of learner

Every child brings something different. Small groups and a gentle rhythm make room for many ways of learning to grow together.

How it works
Small groups, live classes

Our cohorts are small, between 3 and 8 children per group, so every child is seen and no one gets lost. All classes are live: no recordings, no drills alone with a screen.

Two semesters a year

Fall (September to January) and Spring (February to June), with a break for the winter holidays and summers off. Perfect for families whose year is built around learning cycles.

Cohorts formed by age and level

We place each child personally, matching them with the group where their age, their Spanish level, and their availability align.

Times that work for your family

Each cohort meets on days that we set in advance. When you join the waitlist, we ask about your preferred time windows so we can match your child with a cohort that fits your rhythm.

Two membership tiers

Essential: one live class per week. Immersion: two live classes per week, with quarterly personal conversations. Both include Class Companion materials, monthly newsletter, and direct email access.
